Job Description
Social worker - Referral & Assessment - Up to £35 per hour Are you looking for a challenging yet demanding role? Would you like to join a team who are dedicated to improving the outcomes of children? I am working closely with a Local Authority within Wales that is currently developing a Team of contractual social workers to increase the Team's efficiency to help support the Assessments team in 2020. Your role will focus specifically on short term work where you will be working with the team who will be the point of call for children and families'; ensuring that safeguarding of children is the number ONE priority. Among this you will be working closely with their family intervention and safeguarding team to ensure children have the smoothest possible transition What this role can offer you: * Low case with only 25 cases at the moment * Flexible working with 2 days at home/ visits the other days in the office * Flexible contract as it will be 3- 6 months options to extend mutually * Stable authority therefore you know you are entering an efficient Local authority Requirements: * Experience within a referral & Assessment * Confident and competent with computers * Social Care England Registered.
