The Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Consulting Services (MACS) team is looking for driven, multi-disciplinary individuals to support the development and delivery of our client's inorganic Corporate Strategies. Specifically, we are looking for candidates with experience in M&A strategy or corporate strategy divisions of leading companies. If this opportunity is of interest to you with some flexibility, please do discuss with us. Your role At Deloitte, we are evolving our M&A capabilities to reflect the changing M&A landscape. Commercial M&A is a new team dedicated to identifying and delivering revenue synergies and transforming the front-office post deal to enable sustainable profitable growth. Commercial M&A advises clients across the deal lifecycle to identify revenue synergies earlier, enabling more rigorous target selection and valuations, and defining interventions and enablers to minimize commercial risks on Day 1 and accelerate the realization of revenue growth post-deal. Commercial M&A practitioners are industry-aligned, becoming trusted advisors to our clients' strategy and commercial leaders. Your role will be to lead / grow client propositions within Commercial M&A, building a team within MACS and collaborating closely with colleagues in Monitor Deloitte, Analytics & Cognitive and Post-Merger Integration. Commercial M&A is a critical component of the Deloitte's end-to-end M&A capability and you will play a critical role in shaping the development and success of the practice. Include specific responsibilities * Working closely with Commercial M&A Leader, provide leadership and direction to Commercial M&A team and related propositions * Develop new Commercial M&A propositions and thought leadership that address client needs and builds eminence, pipeline and sales * Develop client proposals and participate in pitches to C&IP clients, working closely with Commercial M&A lead and other Partners and Directors to win Commercial M&A and wider MACS work with priority clients * Lead MACS and multi-disciplinary workstreams and / or project teams to deliver Commercial M&A projects in Consumer & Industrial Products and adjacent sectors * Support / lead development of Commercial M&A, including the Commercial M&A toolkit, working closely with Analytics & Cognitive teams to provide business user and commercial input to technical design and build of prototypes * Support / lead on internal Commercial M&A Operations initiatives, from recruitment, training and onboarding to talent development, business development pipeline and vertical resourcing Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk.
