We are looking for a strong FRTB/FRC Change Manager to join our team in London. Key elements of this role are: - Support the FRTB Programme Manager with the delivery of front-to-back regulatory change across all FRC business areas. This includes running weekly coordination calls between the Business, Front Office IT, Risk, Finance and Operations - Take ownership and lead FRTB workstreams. This includes: (i) taking part of and representing FRC's interest in the bank-wide FRTB Working Groups, (ii) providing regular updates to the Programme Manager, ad-hoc issue management, escalation and resolution - Support the delivery of other key regulatory iniatives, where possible The role focuses on the impact of FRTB on the FX, Rates and Credit (FRC) division within the Investment Bank and involves the interaction with several stakeholders across the bank including Sales & Trading, Business Management, Market Risk, IT, Finance and other control functions. It provides the successful candidate with excellent exposure to key business areas within the IB. Your team: The Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) Programme, within the IB COO group, is responsible for managing and delivering regulatory change in the context of the BCBS Standards for Minimum Capital Requirements for Market Risk published on January 2016. This programme covers the implementation of the FRTB regulatory requirements across the business including trading functions, Market Risk, Finance, Business reporting and Analytics. The programme is foremost concerned with meeting the new regulatory obligations but also aims to take advantage of opportunities presented by regulatory reform for UBS and its clients. The FRC FRTB Team is mandated to ensure timely and effective delivery of the FRTB business requirements within FRC, the majority of which are global in nature. We are part of the FRC COO Team responsible for Strategic Planning and Cost Management, Business Engineering & Technology, and Operational Risk Management. Your expertise: The ideal candidate has: - knowledge of key Risk and Finance concepts and methods, including Value-at-Risk, PnL calculations and attribution, Backtesting, etc. - very strong analytical skills - strong communication (oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills in order to liaise with members of the organisation at all levels - strong desire to deliver results despite challenges and constraints, and the ability and willingness to organise and deliver work independently and as part of a team - the flexiblity to undertake a variety of assignments, primarily around those identified, but potentially others as needs dictate Knowledge of FRC is desirable. *LI-UBS About us: Expert advice.
