Country: United Kingdom Location: Southampton Function: Operations Level: Non-management Appointment Type: Permanent PURPOSE STATEMENT: * Responsible for daily administrative duties and reporting tasks across the Global Leaf Pool Logistics and Analysis Team * Support for the MOPE / SOP planning inputs preparation * Responsible for administration of planning and logistics planning parameters, maintenance and masterdata preparation, reporting and tracking of continuous improvement initiatives * Responsible for selected logistics invoice audit & validation analysis. * Shadowing Grade 34 Planning / Logistics Analysts to provide cover. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Daily administrative duties and reporting tasks * Logistics tasks/checks/IPCs/ parameters checks, and reports run and distributed at various times of the month ranging from simple downloads to more complex reporting and escalating issues forresolutions * Compiling the controls documentation * Updating dashboards * Preps of selected MOPE/SOP inputs from Planning and Logistics team * Follow up and monitorimprovements identified * Weekly/Monthly meeting attendance with GLP andLogisticsstakeholders * Logistics invoice audit & validation analysis * Selected logistics invoice validation and review * Administration of planning andlogistics planning parameters and masterdata maintenance * Maintenance of Freight database (FDB) and TRT with latest data on Carriers/ Lanes / Tender results (2-3 updates/year), + Ad Hoc: BAF adjustments, spot rates, new lanes set up. Setting up SCEM parameters (input preparation for masterdata team) * Duty updates, Commodity codes maintenance (compiling Customers input for masterdata team) * Transit Times, pre-carriage (goods issue time), on carriage (goods receipt time) - review and adjustments (input preparation for masterdata team) * Support new supplier/customer set up (t-lanes lead time; off set times, TRT set up; FDB update) * Upskill in readiness to move into Analyst role as pipeline talent * * Shadowing L+A Analysts to upskill in readiness to move into Analyst role as pipeline talent * Learning and delivering selected tasksfor MOPE/SOP cycles * Planning and logisticsactivities including covering absences, participation in projects, tender data preps and savings initiatives * CI initiatives Knowledge, Skills & Experience * Desirable FMCG company logistics, planning or reporting experience * Very good Excel skills * Attention to detail * SAP APO/ERP System, PowerBI and Alteryx knowledge is a strong asset * Desirable understanding of Logistics and Planning processes * Good cultural awareness * Good analytical and planning skills * Good organisation and prioritisation skills * Good interpersonal and communication skills Key Success Factors * Ensure sustainable and robust reporting delivered on time and according to defined metrics and tolerances. * Provide a high-quality reports, andanalysis identifying areas for improvement. * Ensure that the system is kept up to date * Support New Processes and process changes to support Business / Logistics Model changes.
