Job Description

A Band 5 physiotherapist post has become available within the Community Rehab Team in East Dunbartonshire HSCP. The team provides assessment and rehab to adults over 16 years old within the East Dunbartonshire area and provides person centred, goal focussed input is provided within individual's own home. You will provide specialist multidisciplinary assessment, intervention and case coordination, as well as profession specific assessment, interventions, review and progressions. You will be expected to promote self management techniques whilst proactively supporting individuals with complex needs. You will be required to work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team, wider HSCP and third sector. The practitioner will take part in planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the Physiotherapy service provided as part of the Rehabilitation Service and will be expected to participate in service development. It is essential you have a Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent with current HCPC registration. Ideally applicants will have some experience and grounding in core physiotherapy areas, and previous experience of working in the community is desirable.
