Job Description
Business Analyst Would you like to play a key role supporting multiple Air Sector programmes? We currently have multiple Business Analyst positions at our sites in Samlesbury and Warton. As a Business Analyst, you will be delivering a BA Service across the Hawk, Typhoon or TFST platforms; from requirements management, to process development and business change activities across the Project and Transformation portfolio. You will provide early stage and full lifecycle support to the business and project stakeholders in order to help shape our projects, establish their feasibility and ensure their mobilisation through to delivery. This role will provide you with wide exposure to the IT projects within the Air Sector of BAE Systems. Your main responsibilities as a Business Analyst will involve: Interpretation of business models, operating models, service designs & value streams Elicitation of functional & non-functional requirements including the development of model based requirements Ongoing requirements traceability & development of acceptance criteria for solution verification Development of workflows & construction of detailed business processes Analysis, evaluation & selection of COTS applications Planning & execution of COTS design & configuration activities including the documentation of COTS configuration specifications Development of functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows) components Interpretation of business functional models and mapping of information exchange requirements between business applications Planning, design & execution of test cycles, test phases & test scripts Planning & design of user training & training materials Planning & management Operational Acceptance Testing & support to Operational Readiness Reviews Design & Preparation of Solution Support materials & knowledge base materials Your skills and qualifications: BCS Diploma, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, data analyst and/or equivalent Proven experience of delivering business analysis services on large and complex projects and programmes Significant experience of gathering and documenting requirements for technical projects, including leading workshops for requirements and business process capture Experience interacting directly with end users and technical project teams Knowledge and experience of Data Analysis What we're looking for in you: Analytical and systematic approach to problem solving Effective and ...
