The Team Our client's national Employment team is widely respected for providing an excellent service and pragmatic and timely legal advice to its highly regarded (mainly UK employer) client base. Enjoying a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters, the team regularly conducts its own advocacy in employment tribunal claims as well as supporting clients and internal colleagues (mainly the Firm's corporate and commercial teams) on a variety of day to day employment matters and strategic projects. The Firm work in partnership with their clients so that their influence goes beyond giving technical legal advice to making a real commercial difference to their business. The Role An opportunity has arisen to join our client's UK employment experts in their Tier 1 ranked (Legal 500) Nottingham team. The Firm are ideally looking for a candidate in the region of 2 years' PQE +. They are looking for candidates with experience of advising employer clients on the full spectrum of employment and HR law, including Tribunal matters, general advisory support, and corporate, commercial and Real Estate support. Candidates will also enjoy with client training and presenting employment seminars. This role will suit a specialist employment lawyer who is looking for a varied workload and the opportunity for significant client contact. You will join a supportive and nationally integrated team where collaboration and individual development are valued and encouraged. You will have the potential to influence this team from the day you join. You will be given responsibility to shape your own caseload and develop and instigate your own client relationships.
