Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a large national firm in Nottingham. This is the perfect role for a passionate individual who can hit the ground running with an existing high-quality and varied caseload. Our client is well known across the country for its employment work and are dedicated to delivering the best possible outcome for their clients by showing empathy and understanding and providing a professional legal service with a personal touch. They are looking for an accomplished employment solicitor to run a diverse caseload of litigated and non-litigated employment rights cases including unfair dismissals, wage claims and settlement agreements claims along with more complex cases, such as multi-applicant, discrimination, TUPE and more. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting and managing employment rights cases as you will be required to assess and advise on employment tribunals. Thorough knowledge of employment tribunal rules of procedure and the litigation process is therefore required. Along with technical expertise you should have strong communication skills and a passion for client care with the ability to form lasting relationships with both colleagues and clients. Our client requires someone who can provide clients with a personal touch by showing empathy and understanding. You should also have strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and time management skills. The successful candidate should have at least 2 years' PQE, however, this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this bracket.
