About Patch For too long, its been prohibitively difficult for city dwellers to get into gardening. In an era of same-day delivery, the best plant retailers are offline and out of town. Even in the age of urbanisation, there is a complete lack of brands that are relevant to urban gardens. And, in a world where information is ubiquitous, few people have knowledge about plants or would know where to start. At Patch, we want to change that. We want to make it simple for people to buy the right plants for them and their space, be it indoors or out. We want to equip them with inspiration and know-how so they can confidently look after their plants and we want to provide superb service and convenience. Since launching in May 2016, we have made over 100,000 deliveries across London. Weve been at the forefront in the resurgent popularity for plants in the public eye and have worked with some of the most exciting brands on the planet. The business is backed by the early-stage investor, Forward Partners, and has raised its Series A from one of the most prestigious VCs in the UK, Octopus Ventures. Whats the opportunity? The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a complex and cross-functional strategic programme, and as such, will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of Patchs entry into its next stage of business growth. This a senior role in Patch, which will report directly into the Head of Operations as well as being a member of the wider Patch Management team. This is a critical position which has the opportunity to grow into a Head of Programmes' role for the right candidate. What will the job involve? This role will involve considering internal and third party solutions to inform the fulfilment strategy, as well as then designing and implementing the programme plan to deliver it. You will have responsibility for the following: * Design and implementation of any supplier due diligence for potential fulfilment partners * Creation of the business case for the proposed solution * Negotiation of any supplier terms and conditions, SLAs and contractual agreements * Project management of the programmes critical path and the timely delivery of the programme * Operational process design and implementation * Winning the hearts and minds of internal stakeholders Requirements What experience, skills and traits do I need? You will have the following skills: * Project management * Senior internal stakeholder management and engagement * Supplier negotiation * Advanced data analysis (highly capable Excel / G Sheets analyst) * Advanced communication and presentation skills * Leading a critical supply chain related programme, from conception to completion (essential) * 5 years + of programme / project management (essential) * Owning and creating a proposal following a complex research process (essential) * Experience of designing and implementing tech enabled fulfilment and last mile solutions (essential) * Lean methodology (non essential but ideal) * Operational management, from perhaps earlier in your career (non essential but ideal) * Working with a Series A/B scale up company (non essential but ideal) Benefits Whats in it for me?
