Job Description
What you'll be doing... As a Client Partner you will play a lead role within our Focus Accounts Team identifying, qualifying, creating and closing opportunities within a nominated high profile and highly complex focus account, whilst managing revenue business and maintaining key relationships. You will help our most important customers move their business forward. As a trusted advisor, you'll create value for us and our customers by solving their business problems. You'll bring a consultative selling approach and become an expert for your customers and your peers by expertly packaging and tailoring our solutions to meet customer needs. Your role is critical to establish us as the premier business partner in your accounts. + Understanding and evaluating industry, business and customer trends to build strategic plans that drive sales. + Developing deep relationships with your customers while getting to know their businesses, markets, and the challenges they face. + Crafting, positioning and pitching creative solutions to help customers understand how Verizon's solutions can enhance their business. + Selling services and data center solutions to help our customers connect better and become more efficient. + Creating winning outcomes for both us and our customers. + Demonstrating value so that customers choose our solution. + Articulating and demonstrating the value of Verizon solutions to our customers. + Building and managing a sales pipelines within nominated accounts that will enable you to achieve / exceed booking targets + Growing our business while making customers happy. What we're looking for... You enjoy digging deep to really understand the customer's vision along with their unique situation and challenges. You like putting things together in new and creative ways to best solve the customer's most pressing needs. You look for win-win solutions wherever you can and enjoy collaborating with others. You'll need to have: + Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience. + Experience identifying and closing business opportunities within large complex organisations. + Valid driver's license. Even better if you have: + Ability to effectively manage relationships and revenue whilst growing the business. + Be comfortable opening up consultative digital transformation conversations with your account. + Excellent presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills. + Ability to form partnerships up to C-level. + Knowledge of technology sales in the context of advanced networking, unified communications and security. + Understand how big data, AI and virtualised infrastructures can change customers business models. + Ability to navigate and understand the complexity of selling into multinational customers. + Experience balancing multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment. + Experience building internal working relationships in a complex matrix environment.
