Job Description
An exciting opportunity has an arisen in The Institute of Neurological Sciences to join the team as a Senior Charge Nurse within the Neurosurgical Theatre Department. The institute of Neurological Sciences is the regional West of Scotland Centre for Neurosurgery, Neurology and Oral-maxillofacial surgery and carries many specialist opportunities due to the complexity of its patient group. We are seeking an experienced theatre nurse who will embrace this dynamic and challenging role. It is essential you are a Registered Nurse with substantial relevant experience. You should possess strong leadership skills, advanced knowledge and extensive experience in the field of theatre nursing and experience of neurosurgical theatres is preferred. You will work a mix of shifts including early/late and on call shifts to cover the 24/7 service. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, continuing professional development, an understanding of our service, and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).
