Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen in South Alcohol and Drugs Recovery Service for a Senior Addiction Nurse. You should be a highly motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse with relevant post-registration experience preferably within this specialty. Evidence of post basic education is desirable along with an interest in continuing to develop your skills. Glasgow Alcohol and Drugs Recovery Services are integrated teams where staff have the opportunity to provide Care and Treatment alongside Social Care colleagues and we work closely with Children and Families and Criminal Justice Services. Along with carrying a caseload you will be expected to supervise Band 5 and unregistered nursing colleagues ensuring that mandatory training and supervision arrangements are in place. Having excellent communication and organisational skills are required. The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 9-5pm Informal contact is John Parker 0141 276 8740.
