Requirements We are looking for a PR Executive to provide administrative and media relations support across our home services products including Energy, Broadband and Mobiles. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award winning PR team, which achieves a large amount of coverage in its sector and punches above its weight in terms of influencing policy and decision-makers. You will gain working knowledge of media and their deadlines and will have the opportunity to plan campaigns and implement them. You will be responsible for: * Supporting the PR team in responding quickly and accurately to press queries on a range of money-saving matters across each sector. * Managing the media monitoring process, owning relationships with external providers and ensuring that all coverage is tracked efficiently and effectively. * Monitoring media for newsjacking opportunities * Developing story ideas and drafting press releases/comments for the telecoms vertical along with the Senior PR manager. * Sourcing case studies for media requests and ensuring they are well briefed ahead of any interviews. * Managing Uswitch.com media centre content as well as PR and spokespeople Twitter feeds. * Regularly sharing releases and comments via email and our social channels, and engaging with journalists online. * Working with internal analysts in the different product teams to source statistics and trends to support releases and enquiries. * Supporting the PR team in the preparation of surveys, analysing results and identifying possible story angles. * Understanding and providing feedback on industry developments and trends. * Preparing weekly and monthly reports on PR coverage and sharing with internal stakeholders. You will have: * Experience working in a related PR role * Strong writing and analytical skills with impeccable attention to detail * Ability to take on responsibility and receptive to new challenges * Excellent communication skills able to communicate at all levels of the organisation and with the media * A passion for innovation, keen initiative and a bias to action * An eye for good judgement, problem solving, planning and organisation * The ability to multitask and work well under pressure * Knowledge of telecoms, energy or the price comparison market would be advantageous Benefits We want to give you a great work environment; contribute back to both your personal and professional development; and give you great benefits to make your time at RVU even more enjoyable.
