This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package. ENGIE is North East Lincolnshire Council's long-term Regeneration Partner delivering a wide range of services including planning, building control, housing, highways & transport, asset & facilities management and operational services. This role is to support the delivery of the financial cost and commercial information for the partnership through the provision of a range of tasks including: Main Responsibilities/Duties Include: * With a working knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, use of electronic systems to maintain the record of revenue expenditure across numerous streams * Ensure cost information is processed in accordance with NELC and ENGIE procedures and in order to provide information for statutory returns * Monitoring and reporting on NELC spend against allocated managed budgets within financial deadlines, forecasting future spend within the financial year * Production of budget monitoring reports and other cost information for all services within ENGIE NEL * Under the direction of the Cost and Commercials Manager; maintain processes to ensure integrity of cost data between different systems, i.e. Oracle & Technology Forge * Investigates enquiries and queries from suppliers and staff/customers and provides assistance and advice as required to customers regarding charges/payments * Deliver excellence in customer service * Work with the central management finance and commercial function to ensure that internal projects are offering best value for money for both ENGIE and NELC * Be responsible for collating forecast information from service managers and challenge spend that is outside profile * Ensure contract change procedures are adhered to within the business * Respond to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests within given timetables and to agreed regulation * Raising of all contract revenue within allocated timeframes, including credit control of the revenue within our agreed credit terms * Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected at this level. Impact: * The role handles significant revenue cost information on behalf of ENGIE and its Clients. * The role deals with large quantities of data and inaccuracy in recording will have an impact on financial reporting for its principle contractor (NELC) *
