The role sits with the Fund Accounting team which plays a crucial role in fund accounting oversight and monitoring. It also acts as main point of contact for fund accounting technical queries and provides key support for new fund launches, new instruments and other projects. Key Accountabilities * Ongoing supervision, monitoring and sign off of the Costs and Charges production and analysis of regular and ad hoc internal and external reporting. * Ongoing management of the Costs and Charges operating model * Ensuring ongoing adherence with all relevant Regulatory costs and charges requirements and the evidencing of this. * The role will act as the key senior point of contact within the Group for all costs and charges activities, requests and queries. * Responsible for ensuring a robust control environment is in place for the costs and charges solution, and identifying and implementing new controls and procedures as necessary via regular control environment review cycles. * Responsible for the oversight of all relevant reconciliations and other controls, to ensure data quality is of the standard required and there is no inconsistency between reported data sets that are prepared for differing purposes across the business. * Ensuring clear audit trails are in place to evidence and explain the calculation of costs data as reported. * Prioritisation of requests and queries, and creation of suitable MI to understand trends in volumes/timings etc. * Ultimate responsibility for ensuring all Costs and Charges reporting is compliant with various regulatory requirements, including MiFID II, PRIIPs and FCA. * Involvement in product launches and input into relevant Committee meetings to ensure costs and charges implications are considered with appropriate practices followed, together with the sourcing of relevant data in relation to the new products in line with Regulatory requirements. * Stakeholder management is a crucial component of the role and this role will coordinate with various senior internal and external parties. * Act as a senior subject matter expert for costs and charges queries, requests and reporting, both internally and externally. * Drive enhancement projects for technology and operational processes, which may result from Regulatory or industry changes to methodology or approach. * Continuously review associated internal and external processes in order to improve efficiency, control and to reduce risk (managing risk within firms appetite). * Contribute to Fund Accounting Oversight Framework and monthly reporting of its activities. * Drive enhancement projects for technology and operational processes. * Assess associated internal and external processes in order to improve efficiency, control and to reduce risk (managing risk within firms appetite). * Ensure processes and controls are reviewed and enhanced regularly to ensure best practice. * Support the Fund Accounting Manager in any other tasks or initiatives. Skills and Experience * Experience in Cost and Charges reporting with an understanding of associated Regulations * Strong AM and Fiduciary industry experience * Strong analytical skills * Strong technical skills in regulated and non-regulated funds * Strong communication skil
