Job Summary We are seeking an IT Test Engineer for ourProject Delivery Services Grouplocated in our Riccarton site in Edinburgh. Responsibilities: + Estimating work required utilising Agile techniques + Designing and developing test conditions and scripts (primarily automated) from various test basis collateral + Creating run plans, performing execution and cataloging / analyzing outcomes + Exposing, recording and managing Lifecycle of defects through to closure + Supporting and driving continuous improvement through retrospectives The following are minimum requirements related to the IT Test Engineer position: + Experience of delivering change within an Agile environment + Familiar with Devops concepts and practices + Ability to write / execute automated Test scripts OR coding proficiency in one or more languages + Effective communication skills for multi-national audiences. + Strong interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate effectively + High Emotional Intelligence (EQ) + Relationship building skills + Business acumen - Understanding of customer value The salary for this position will be dependent on the candidate's skills and experience.
