Main Duties and Responsibilities Primarily supports the Senior Placements Lead (London), Global Head of Ceded Re, and Head of Risk Funding. Frequently supports other Risk Funding team members in London and locations to allow best execution of their job functions Support includes: * Collating and supporting finalization of reinsurance submissions * Prepare and review decks for internal and external presentations * Prepare schematics and reinsurance resumes post placement * Prepare standard analyses of statistical data using professional knowledge and excel workbook skills * Coordinate with internal resources in business units and Risk Funding to prepare responses to questions from internal stakeholders and external counterparties * Communicate with external business partners: brokers and reinsurers as directed * Assist with the review of reinsurance coverage in support treaty administration * Coordinate with internal and external resources to plan and support reinsurer audits * Assist with Reinsurance Security Analysis which involves confirming reinsurer approval status and preparing referrals to internal reinsurance security review committee as required * Support internal business controls compliance by maintaining appropriate documentation to support compliance for audit purposes * Support adherence to Lloyds Minimum Standards as they apply to working practice * Participates on special projects as required This role may include required travel within the UK and on occasion outside the UK Qualifications Minimum 3 year Reinsurance related experience Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience ARe and/or CPCU preferred Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required * Strong Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills * Appropriate level of knowledge of general insurance * Appropriate level of knowledge of reinsurance and principles * Appropriate level of knowledge of Lloyd's practices * Appropriate level of knowledge of Lors * Shares knowledge effectively within the work team and provides information effectively to internal customers. * Able to independently plan work and prioritize on a weekly to monthly basis * Ability to analyze data and present results in a clear and concise manner as appropriate to the audience * Ability to communicate and build a relationship with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders * Ability to follow processes and procedures * Ability to work well in dynamic work environment * Influencing and negotiating skills * Problem-solving skills * Strong organization and time management skills * Strong attention to detail * Proactive in using initiative to identify and recommend process improvements
