Due to continued expansion we are looking to recruit a Raw Material Laboratory Technician to carry out the necessary sampling, testing and administration to enable raw material release in an accurate and efficient manner. You will report to the Quality Manager Responsibilities and Duties * Complete product and raw material sampling according to relevant procedures * Complete product and raw material testing (NIR, Organoleptic, and other) according to relevant procedures * Accurately release products and raw materials based on the results of testing and certificate requirements * Accurately complete all records relating to the release of raw materials * Maintain a fully traceable raw material retained sample library * Maintain a library of traceable gold standards * Keep data records required for the SQA daily report * Maintain a tidy working environment in the goods in laboratory with consideration to 5S * Work in a hygienic manner with consideration to GMP, site standards and product protection * Strive for improvements to intake processes and procedures * Identify supplier non-conformances and raise them with the SQA team * Complete additional necessary tasks * Carry out hold process when required * Communicate accurately and professionally with good attention to spelling and grammar * Carry out all tasks in compliance with relevant procedures For this role you will be working Monday - Friday. Hours are Rotating 06.00 AM - 15.00 PM Week 1 and 09:00 AM -18.00 PM Week 2. Requirements To be considered you will need to have the following qualifications / skills: * Experience in food manufacturing and quality assurance * Reliable with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy * Proactive personality, industrious * Strong communication skills * Ability to deliver to tight deadlines, and works well under pressure * Good computer skills, including Microsoft office * If you have experience with Sage this would be beneficial * For this role you will be working Monday - Friday. Hours are Rotating 06.00 AM - 15.00 PM Week 1 and 09:00 AM -18.00 PM Week 2.
