Senior Data Engineer - SQL - Azure - Python - Birmingham - 65k I am working with an organisation based in Birmingham who are looking for a Data Engineering Manager to join at an exciting time as the company embark on a migration from their on-premise Data Warehouse to Azure. As well as leading the migration you will also be leading a fast-growing Data & Analytics Team. Key Skills I am looking for: -Demonstrable experience of migrating from on-premise to Microsoft Azure based platform -Experience of Cloud- Architecture -Strong working knowledge of the MS Azure Stack, including: Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks -Excellent SQL Server/ Python skills -Experience in designing and developing data warehouse solutions from scratch -Experience of implementing end-to-end Data Warehouse and ETL pipeline solutions -Excellent customer facing/ stakeholder management skills -Experience leading a team of Developers/ Data Engineers Desirable experience: -Synapse Analytics -Knowledge of other cloud based platforms, e.g. AWS -Retail background This is a permanent position paying a competitive starting salary of 65,000 plus 20% bonus, car allowance and home-working amongst many benefits they offer.
