Customer Service / Website Assistant - happyhomewares.co.uk Reports To Marketing Manager & Managing Director. Job Overview Here at Happy Homewares, we are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service / Website Assistant to join our busy fast-paced team. You will primarily be responsible for providing first-line support to our customers, writing product listings for the website & marketplaces and assisting with product imagery. Youll play a key role in the customer experience; including creating engaging content, clearly communicating important product information to our customers and ultimately persuading them to purchase. Youll be a creative thinker, passionate about writing with meticulous attention to detail and a desire to learn new skills and develop their career. The Working hours of this role will be Monday - Friday between the hours of 9 - 5pm with a 45 minute lunch break. The role will be paid at a salary of 18,500. Responsibilities and Duties Providing first-class customer service via phone, email and via our online platforms; ensuring all customer enquiries are responded to within a reasonable time frame. Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product range and target markets Assisting with photographing new products and processing the images ready to be added to product listings. Writing informative and influential product descriptions. Uploading product listings onto the website and all other marketplaces. Processing customer orders, refunds and discrepancies in line with our company policies. Upholding a positive presence online by responding to our customers product reviews across all our market platforms. Maintaining good working relationships with Senior Management and our Warehouse, ensuring communication channels are always open. Ad hoc duties; including occasional assistance in the warehouse during peak trading and to cover any staff absence Requirements A solid eCommerce understanding (2 years required) with a passion to always improve the customer experience Great written customer service skills (email and live chat) Computer literate, with a high level of word processing skills. Well organised and able to manage a demanding workload. Self-motivated working with a small team, with excellent time management skills. Able to work within a fast-paced website environment. Outstanding copy-writing skills with excellent spelling and grammar and great experience with the Microsoft Suite (Exel/Word preferred) A meticulous attention to detail Commercially driven and results obsessed, always looking for ways to increase sales from the website An enthusiastic and positive outlook, easy to build relationships with Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines Keen to learn new skills and develop their career Experience with the Adobe suite would be advantageous (Preferably Photoshop) Must have a full understanding of e-commerce platforms such as eBay & Amazon which is essential for this job role.
