Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team responsible for transforming our Community Nursing service. The successful applicant will work across the West Area of Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust and work with the Integrated Primary Care teams and Community Nursing teams to deliver the principles of Right People, Right Skills, Right Place, and Right Time. Our Practice Development Nurses provide support to clinical staff to develop their knowledge and skills in order to ensure a diverse, adaptable, resilient workforce that meets the needs of the organisation. The post holder will build on the success of the core skills training and help to standardise its use across the Trust, working closely with the Community Nursing Programme team and Practice Development team. The successful applicant will have extensive experience in Community Nursing and will bring innovation and influence to the team. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates strong clinical, leadership and communication skills with a commitment to, and passion for, practice education. You should be innovative and flexible, and committed to evidence-based working.
