Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team within the Regional Endoscopy Unit Queen Margaret Hospital The current vacancy although based at the Regional Endoscopy Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline, will also be required to participate in Endoscopy activity at the Day Intervention Unit at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy, and participate in the out of hours on call commitments. Supporting the Senior Charge Nurse to manage the nursing team and support services development is an integral part of this leadership role. Participation in audit and quality improvement is essential as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must possess evidence of effective team working and excellent interpersonal skills, and be committed to patient focused care. You should be educated to degree level/working towards a degree or have equivalent experience and education. You will be required to be competent in the necessary evidence based clinical skills relating to Endoscopy. Evidence of further education/continuous professional development and willing to commit to life-long learning and continuing professional development both of yourself and that of your team. You will be required to be flexible in your approach to working as the hours of work will be to meet the needs of the service.
