Corporate Finance - UK ECM focused investment banking experience

Job Description
Leading stockbroker keen to hire an associate for their Corporate Advisory business. The clients' Corporate Advisory department offers an integrated investment banking advisory service to public and private companies across a wide range of different sectors and industries. Areas of expertise include advice on mergers and acquisitions, disposals, equity funding, IPOs and project finance as well as strategic and general financial advice. The role will involve: * Company/industry research and analysis * Financial statement analysis * Financial modelling * Preparation of valuations * Creation of detailed written presentations and responses to Requests for Proposals * Providing support in the execution of corporate finance transactions * Liaising with clients, service providers and other intermediaries * Ambitious highly motivated and experienced professionals with at least two to three years' experience in a similar role who can demonstrate excellence in: Communication skills, Commercial judgement and Negotiation skills. It would be beneficial for candidates to have relevant experience in investment banking, corporate banking, or a similar environment. The ideal candidate should also possess the following * UK ECM focused investment banking experience * A Business related Degree. * Microsoft Office skills (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Key Contact status with the FCA in relation to Sponsorship Roles. * Strong numerical/analytical skills * Highly motivated * Knowledgeable about general finance, business issues and financing markets * PowerPoint, financial modelling and research skills * A confident communicator (verbal and written) with good interpersonal skills * A proactive attitude and strong work ethic Please only apply if you have relevant experience and note we will only contact those candidates we consider suitable.
