Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual interested in developing skills within hospital Pharmacy Services. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, be able to adapt to changing demands and be committed to providing a high quality patient focused service. The role of the successful candidate will include: * Dispensing discharge, in-patient and outside unit prescription requests. * Dispensing discharge and stock controlled drug requests. * Ensuring the pharmacy waste and medication returns are dealt with appropriately and disposed of or returned according to Trust waste guidelines * Providing reception and delivery support where applicable * Ordering and maintaining stock as part of an allocated weekly ward top-up * Participation in the weekend and bank holiday rota Candidates must meet the essential criteria of the job specification.
