We're looking for creative problem-solvers who can ensure Euromonitor stays ahead in a world that continues to evolve through the use of technology. Managed global IT, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex programs for establishing and developing Digital Channels in a fully cloud/SaaS based environment. You will be responsible for the following focus areas. * Technology service delivery: Oversight of all IT services provided, maintaining 24x7 global resiliency, reliability, recoverability, security and risk management to users across the globe. * IT Infrastructure: Assess and identify current and emerging technologies and systems that will deliver a systematic approach to improvement in operations and provide a superior return on investment. * Automation & Process Excellence: Collaborate with business heads to define opportunities for automation, implementing suitable technology tools (RPA) and process re- engineering initiatives, to drive operational transformation and provide transparency. * IT Security: Create an appropriate forward-looking global security strategy and implement systems and protocols that continuously protect Euromonitor global data and technology assets. * Utilising Agile Methodologies: Ensure all IT and Operations team members are well trained on Agile methodologies, and are adept at delivering technology program implementations using Agile tools. * Collaboration: Adept at managing multiple business stakeholders spread across geographies, and bringing strong leadership capability to lead global teams and partner vendors. * Embrace a cloud-first culture: Own the Euromonitor hosting strategy, embracing cloud and SaaS providers, as appropriate. As Head of Infrastructure and Operations you will work with: * CTO - The senior technology executive within Euromonitor * Director of Engineering - The leader of software delivery across Euromonitor * Director of Enterprise Applications - The leader of business system delivery at Euromonitor * Direct reports to this role responsible for IT Operations across Euromonitor key locations (London, Bangalore, Chicago, Vilnius) * Product Management - The team responsible for specifying and delivering Euromonitor key client platforms * Outside vendors and key third-party IT service provider Requirements * As a key member of the technology leadership team, provide oversight for all technical operations, support and service delivery that fulfills the needs of the Euromonitor business. * Fosters a business-oriented, transparent culture and mindset driven by continual service improvement. * Take a leading role in determining the broader technology strategy and roadmap whilst owning the IT services and security strategy. * Builds and maintains relationships with business leaders to develop a clear understanding of organisational needs; ensures cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs, and is able to respond with agility to changing business priorities. * Participates in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities with a focus on suitability for integration with the existing IT operations environment. * Maintains awareness of new technologies and service management practices, and provides direction on what emerging IT operations technologies and methods should be introduced, integrated and assimilated within the operational IT environment. * Leads the IT sourcing strategy, and works with the CTO to provide oversight for vendor and partner relationship management. * Works closely with the CTO in support of an Infrastructure and Operations "people strategy" that defines appropriate metrics and aligns with the business and IT strategy. * Provide relevant metrics to demonstrate the performance of the team and suppliers Skills and Experience required * Experience in working with compliance, security and data privacy teams. * Experience managing external strategic partners for IT Delivery with offshore resources * Ideally have come from an operations background within a Microsoft environment * A cloud first mindset with proven experience working extensively with Microsoft Azure and SaaS based platforms. * Experience of managing a global ITIL based "best in class" Service Desk. * Experience of managing Service Level Agreements and supplier contract negotiation. * Experienced in the delivery of Office 365. * Experience delivering Backup, archive and business continuity systems. * Keeps abreast of the security landscape and familiar with what good cyber defence looks like. * Experience with both Hardware, Security and Application level monitori Benefits International : not only do we have a very multinational workforce in each office but we are all dealing with our 12 offices worldwide on a daily basis.
