Job Description

The post holder is required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way. The postholder will work within a designated ward area providing a clerical and reception service, receiving patient and members of the public as they arrive at hospital. Duties include the maintenance and filing of patient confidential records, recording patient related data, admissions and out-patient appointments using the computerised patient administration system, answering telephones and relaying messages. You should be able to work flexibly in order to meet service demands. Candidates should possess SVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience. Post 1:- 15 Hours per week, Hours of Duty are Thursday and Friday 8.00am to 4.15pm Post 2:- 20 Hours average, Shift Rotation Week 1: Monday - Friday 8.45am to 1.45pm, Week 2: Friday 2.00pm to 7.00pm/ Saturday & Sunday 8.30am -1.30pm, Week 3 Monday to Thursday 2.00pm to 7.00pm Post 3:- 25 Hours Week 1: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 2.00pm Week 2: Monday to Friday 2.00pm to 7.00pm Please identify on your application which post/s you are applying for.
