Job Description What we can offer you! - Your Role: In this role of high impact we are hiring an energized, tenacious and highly driven Regional Payroll Manager - UK/Ireland/Scandinavia/Israel to join our European Inhouse HR & Payroll Service team, based either in the UK or in Ireland , with direct reporting line to our EMEA Hub Leader Global Workforce Operations . Your Mission: * In your multi country Payroll Leader role, you and your European team of experts will be responsible for setting and optimizing our strategic direction and operational management for our payroll operations for various countries such as the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, and Israel. * Working with a European and global network of payroll professionals you will promote best practice driven by internal as well as external insights, and you will hold an important key role in European and global projects to evolve our Inhouse HR & Payroll service delivery model, to demonstrate the true value of the payroll function and to create best in class service to employees and stakeholders. * Your daily tasks as an ADP Streamline and ADP SAP Globalview key user include the control and active participation in the preparation of the monthly payroll for a defined group of employees in your region in compliance with all legal, collective and company regulations. * You will be the contact person for internal and external audits, and for financial, tax, and social security institutions, or similar authorities. * Thus, opting for our managerial payroll position in our EMEA team certainly means going all out for an exciting, dynamic and multi-faceted opportunity, offering new and insightful challenges each day within the labeling industry of tomorrow. Qualifications What we expect from you! - Your Expertise: * Appetite for change and a passion for continuous improvement will make a positive contribution to your success in this role * Professional experience (5+ years) in payroll and time management preferably with SAP in a manufacturing or HR shared service center environment , ideally first (remote) people management experience * Solid knowledge in the areas of wage tax, labor and social security law for the UK, Ireland, and/or Scandinavia as well as experience in cooperation with payroll providers (e.g. ADP) * Experience of payroll consolidation and/or implementation projects would be a great advantage as well as in project management plus a good understanding of how to handle personal data in accordance with data privacy regulations (GDPR) * Strong communication skills and interest in leading employees from different countries and cultures * Creativity and innovation, entrepreneurial spirit for growing a sustainable business to set your career at Avery Dennison Additional Information What you can look forward to? - Our offer: * Flexible working times * 25 days of vacation UK or 20 days vacation in Ireland, increasing with length of service * Bonus Payment * Company Pension Scheme * Private medical (depending on location of contract) * Events such as Christmas Party, World Women's Day, Earth Day etc. Who we are! - Our Story: Each of us, Every day!
