Job Description

HR Advisor - Leicester, Kirby Muxloe The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, can meet deadlines, work on own initiative and keep up to date knowledge on employment law To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials: * Good knowledge of employment law * Be a subject matter expert in employee relation and generalist HR issues * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Knowledge of ER procedures and processes such as disciplinary, grievance, disability, diversity and equal opportunities * Ability to work well under pressure * Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels Within this position, you'll also be: * Drafting offer letters and contracts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail * Monitoring receipt of new starter and checking that all documentation is complete * Generating of HR reports as required * Liaising with the payroll department where necessary, ensuring provision of information to meet payroll deadlines such as new starter details, change forms, leavers, etc * Ensuring all HR policies and processes are adhered to by managers and staff * Developing of good working relationships ensuring requests for information and queries are responded to expediently * Note taking and providing HR support at informal meetings, plus formal investigatory, disciplinary and grievance meetings * Maintaining of employee files, ensuring confidentiality and Data Protection Legislation is fully complied with * Updating and maintaining staff database information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Salary & Working Hours Salary dependent on experience £18,000 - £23,000 Working hours are Monday - Friday About Us Established in 1981, Poundstretcher is the UK's leading variety discount retailer for quality food, toiletries, garden essentials and home-ware brands.
