Job Description Role: SOLR Expert Location : London, UK Type : Contract Job Description: Skills and experience required: Solr helps us index files on the Quals platform. Solr version 4.7 Should be able to resolve data duplication issues as well as replication issues. Need someone with expertise with Solr, SolrCloud, Zookeeper and configuration with Linux environments. Someone who can provide a structural/architectural view of our Platform Someone who can help us improve the reliability of Solr and help us get consistent environments Someone who can help us upgrade to the latest stable version of Solr". Should be a hands on SOLR expert who can identify any existing architecture/design issues with the current implementation. Should be able to manage configuration changes along with any scripting changes needed and guide the dev/devops team to follow the best practices in SOLR implementation.
