Job Description

Our Clients are looking for a very unusual person!! If you have basic carpentry skills and feel that you are also artistic and able to speak with Clients this could be the ideal job for you. You will be working for a lot of the time in the workshop at their offices in Colchester (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm) at other times you will be in various parts of the UK fitting at Clients businesses the objects that have been made in the workshop. On the days that you are fitting you can expect to work up to a 12 hour days usually leaving early in the morning. There may be the odd occasion when owing to the distance you will have to stay overnight but this is quite unusual. Our Clients fit and make various artifax for the re-theming of Hotels, Restaurants, Public Houses etc.for example if the Client wanted a Victorian theme you would help to make possible a Victorian Picture frame or an imitation Victorian fireplace it could be they were looking for a James Bond theme so you may have to help design a golden gun or a mock sports car!! Unfortunately it is very difficult to give you the split between working in the workshop and fitting as it varies so much during the year.
