Role: HR Business Partner Ishida Europe is the market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of packaging lines and equipment. Purpose of the Role Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Business Partner 's remit is to use practical employee relations and employment law experience to provide pragmatic expert guidance to line managers and stakeholders. It is also to support the business and its leaders to develop, engage and retain talent, and to drive business changes and challenges. Primary Responsibilities: * Business Partnership - build effective partnerships with key stakeholders, contributing to and enabling the delivery of the business strategy. * People Strategy - Partner with key stakeholders to develop and deliver the people plan for the relevant business area that will support the delivery of the overall strategy. * Collaboration - Be the face of the central HR team, utilising the wider team where required, to support managers with general HR matters. * Coach - Develop coaching relationship with key stakeholders to support them in tackling people and business challenges. * Performance management - Drive the roll out of performance management throughout the relevant business area including providing training, coaching and support to key stakeholders to ensure high standards are achieved across the business area * Talent Management - Support the business, working with the wider HR team to develop and deliver the talent plan. Develop the management capability of the senior managers in identifying requirements, gaining department buy in, designing interventions and delivering them. Act as a coach to support talent in their development. * Structures - Lead department restructures working with key stakeholders, as and when required. * Change - Build the change capability of key stakeholders and support the delivery of change programmes. * Employee Relations - Manage ER issues by providing advice and training to managers, ensuring legislation is followed and liaising with legal advisors where necessary. * Policy - provide pragmatic advice to line managers on the implementation of all people policies. Input to the design of policies and policy roll out processes where appropriate. What skills are we looking for? Key Technical Skills / Competencies: * Significant generalist HR business partnering experience. * Proven track record of delivering a material contribution to business strategy, and of implementing and embedding HR strategies and initiatives. * Proven success in supporting large-scale projects and complex change / transformation initiatives. * Considerable experience of supporting Line Managers with complex and/or high-risk employee relations cases including preparing for employment tribunals and working with external legal counsel. * Experience of developing Line Manager Capability using a range of tools and techniques depending on skills gap and/or audience. * Demonstrable experience of supporting growth activity including responding to requests for information including costings; * Demonstrable evidence of developing and sustaining positive effective working relationships at all levels up to and including Directors / Board Members. * Up to date and current knowledge of Employment Law including an understanding of present and future employment legislation. * Experience of effectively challenging and influencing at a senior level. * Understand the basics of project management tools, techniques and methodologies. * IT literate - MS Office.
