A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proven HR Business Partner to cover a 12-month maternity cover working a mixture of office and remote working. Mobile Fun- Who are we? We are Europe's leading eCommerce retailer for everything mobile offering the latest mobile devices accessories from our websites, we were established in 2000. We are based in Birmingham and currently employ around 60 staff with a great reputation and having the highest possible standards. And what would the main responsibilities be? * To support our international e-commerce business, during a period of Maternity Cover. Ensuring the delivery of comprehensive operational HR Generalist services. Continuing the support to the Directors, there will be ongoing exposure to strategic change projects as well as overseeing harmonious employee relations; compliance with legislation and processes. Ultimately ensuring the ongoing delivery, and monitoring of service quality, performance and SLA's defined KPI's whilst driving organisational team performance through L&D and engagement Initiatives. * To recognise the impact of the evolving COVID-19 pandemic on the business and its employees. To ensure timely communication and compliance to government guidelines and changing legislation. Key Responsibilities of the role are: * Sourcing and Recruiting using internal and external online software and systems collaboratively working with the Hiring Managers across the organisation to continually develop and deliver a best in class recruitment process across the business. * Delivering continual improvements and ongoing coordination of the company onboarding programmes. * Develop, deliver and manage appropriate training interventions to meet the needs of the business and its employees, with a focus on Smart Learning and the support of the business needs through effective performance management best practices. * Through a comprehensive understanding of employment law manage employee relations, providing strong guidance and support to all mobile fun employees. * Manage, deliver and support programmes of Culture change, engagement activities and creation of recognition programmes to support recruitment and retention objectives and the ongoing focus of Mental Health and wellbeing support within Mobile Fun. * Provide an efficient payroll function, managing the monthly salaries through the SAGE 50 payroll system, PAYE and Pension contribution with up to date and accurate records. * Research, propose, implement any integrated HR Solutions that meet the needs of the business via a technology platform along with the continued championed administration of the existing HRIS and technology within Mobile Fun, whilst maintaining the face to face contact with the HR Service delivery even in a remote setting. * Support and assist with the management, implementation and coordination of all appropriate facilities and utility contracts where necessary. * Support and coordinate the management of Health and Safety in the workplace. * Ensuring that the social distancing & hygiene guidelines are adopted by all employees and monitored for compliance. Now, here's what we need from you: Essential: * 3+ years experience of in a generalist HR practitioner role. * 3+ years experience of recruiting and sourcing roles at all levels and utilising corporate recruitment tools (LinkedIn, CV Databases and Applicant tracking systems). * IT competent. Mobile Fun is a technology-driven business and therefore the successful candidate must be familiar with cloud-based HR and Collaboration project management based software. Competent in using Microsoft Office 360 and/or Google Suite software, HRIS Cloud-based solutions and project management tools. * Ability to deal with employees at all levels. * Has had responsibility for administrating payroll in a small to medium-size business (currently using SAGE Cloud 50) Desirable: * Holds a degree in Human Resources Management, business administration, or in a related field * Has an impressive track record in a similar fast-paced e-commerce retailer environment, with commercial and logistics staff.
