Company Description Overview Specialist role Developer Summary of the work We require a supplier experienced in public sector website design to develop,build and host a property website which will aid new NEBP (LocatED) in ensuring the Department for Education has appropriate land and buildings for new schools. Latest start date 08/08/2016 Region London Organisation the work is for Department for Education Job Description About the work Who the specialist will work with You will be working with the Education Funding Agency team leading on LocatED's development and maintenance phase. You may also be liaising with our property consultants and other internal staff members or IT group colleagues What the specialist will work on We require a supplier experienced in public sector website design to develop and build a property website for a new NDPB (LocatED) which will aid the Department for Education in seeking sites (buildings and land) for new schools. The website is currently scheduled for a 1 September launch - we appreciate this is a short deadline so it may be that a holding page is developed in the interim with the full functionality launched slightly later. We require ongoing hosting and support. Work setup Address where the work will take place London Working arrangements We will expect you to work primarily from your office. For project initiation, testing and progress meetings we could come to you or colleagues can come to the DfE office - London Qualifications Skills and experience Essential skills and experience * Have experience designing websites for multiple audiences, both business and consumer * Have experience designing websites for the public sector * Be capable of building a platform accessible across all devices, on all browsers, and be integrated with Google analytics and SEO * Be able to manage hosting * Be able to manage support * Be able to deliver to the tight timescale Nice-to-have skills and experience * Be able to carry out user research and testing * Be able to work iteratively, or using an agile approach or methodology * Be creative and innovative in approach to digital platform design Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
