Overview

Website Merchandising Assistant needed for one the most used a talked about beauty Pureplays in London. You will be assisting in implementing and delivering the visual merchandising strategy across all product categories to help maximise sales and profit across all product categories. Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver, under guidance, all aspects of online merchandising of product, department and landing pages to maximise conversion by proposing and implementing amendments through their merchandising tool, Fredhopper Manage search results and product recommendations listings Prepare weekly and ad-hoc reports via the pulling of data from a range of sources and contribute to analysis on specific areas of the site / promotions Conduct daily site walk-throughs to and ensure site content is accurate and liaise with Marketing team to deliver any changes Support in co-ordination of event management on-site, involving content coordination for event shops to ensure accurate products and offers are represented Work with Product Content team to ensure product offers are set up for promotional activity Assist with planning content for specific departments in accordance with the overall site trading calendar and promotional activities Review and analyse e-commerce KPI metrics to ensure that sales opportunities are maximised Ad hoc tasks and projects as determined by the Commercial Director and Online Trading Manager. Skills / Qualifications: Fredhopper or other merchandising tool experience is desirable An exceptional analytical mind with strong technical proficiency and commercial awareness A knowledge of the beauty sector is desirable but not essential, however, you will need to be willing to immerse yourself within this sector Ability to liaise with colleagues throughout the business at all levels to ensure cohesion and team-spirit Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a strong work ethic Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment A self-starter who is well organised Excellent IT skills including excel Flexibility to work across teams and be involved with and communicate with other teams and locations.
