Overview
This is a well established and friendly company and the role is to run some accounts for two companies in the group. There is a private health scheme and company pension scheme that you will be eligible after a set length of service and the offices are very friendly and professional. Free parking on site as well so you don't have to walk far The role is 14 hours a week and we can be flexible in how you decide to set up a work pattern except we do need you in on a Monday morning. This is an office based part time administrator role and you will need to be accurate and have a good eye for details. The company uses Xero accounting systems which you can be taught if you have used Sage or another similar package. Some of the tasks you will be doing are shown below: Main role: Accounts Admin: Enter engineers and suppliers bills to be paid Invoice out to clients Upload system with worksheets and other related details Input cost details into Excel spreadsheets Credit Control: Chase payments on outstanding invoices that are due You will need to be methodical in your approach and have good communication skills. The ability to work under pressure is important as is having good IT skills. You will work independently here but with good support from the external accountant and internal office staff so you must be a self starter and someone who gets on with things. The 14 hours can be set up to suit you with only the one caveat is that it must include Monday morning. We can discuss this at interview.
