Social Worker - Therapeutic Fostering Agency A well know Therapeutic Fostering Agency are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join their service North East London. The Agency provide a Specialist Fostering Service which provides more intensive therapeutic placements to children and young people. They have received achieved 'Outstanding' in the multiple OFSTED Inspections and continue to maintain this today. The role of Supervising Social Worker will involve providing support and supervision to a manageable case load of 8 foster carers who are are located in East London. Working across both the Agency's mainstream and therapeutic fostering programmes the Supervising Social Worker will also work within a dedicated team to improve the outcomes and lives of looked after children. In addition to being a skilled and enthusiastic Qualified Social Worker with a strong interest in working within a therapeutic setting, candidates applying for this position must also have the following: * Social Work Qualification * Have a minimum of 1 years experience as a Children Social Worker * Be able to demonstrate good understanding of Fostering Minimum Standards, Fostering Legislation and Safeguarding * Hold a full UK Driving Licence * Be within a commutable distance from the agency's offices in Enfield.
