iX.co is seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant who is passionate about translating our customer's business vision and strategy needs into technology solutions as part of the sales process. In this role, you will work with our clients and prospects and exude a passion for understanding their needs and expressing the value of our tailored products and solutions in meeting those needs. We're looking for sharp, energetic and detail-oriented people who are passionate about implementing solutions that transform the status quo. This individual will be in a key client-facing role working in the pre and post-sales phases and will take ownership of client strategy and technology solutions required to win sales pursuits. This role is consultative and must include the ability to identify and remove roadblocks and obstacles to increasing business. The ideal fit will be someone with experience selling technology services, but also has experience in the delivery of technology services. The ideal candidate: * Is interested in cutting-edge technologies and in tackling real business problems * Has business acumen to speak confidently to C-Level execs, as well as the technical expertise to engage with IT professionals * Is a good listener and asks appropriate questions in order to better understand the client's business and then guide the client through operationalizing solutions to ensure success * Has technical pre-sales and/or post-sales experience * Has excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills * Is smart, confident, technically strong and industry savvy * Can effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities Responsibilities * Set a Customer Vision - Work with clients to define their digital vision as a business strategy and a roadmap and architect the solutions across complex multi-solution engagements * Consultative Problem-Solving - Take a consultative role in the sales process, own client strategy and technical architecture design for our client's and prospects business needs * Solution Design - Own technical solutions for client proposals, request for proposals (RFP), and requests for inquiry (RFI) during the pre and post-sales phases and contribute ideas and solutions options based on client's needs * Articulate Business and Technical Needs - Examine, interpret, and articulate complex technical information to audiences of varying technical levels * Scoping - Design, scope, and estimate the software solution and professional services for prospects and customers * Business Development - Support account growth and new business development * Trusted Advisor - Be a critical member of the sales team, a leader, coach, and a trusted advisor for our prospects * Workshops - Run workshops to shape and refine our proposed solution with senior executive audiences * Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to deliver on prospect needs * Thought Leadership - Be a design and technology thought leader on existing and emerging technology trends. Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of iX.co's professional services and product offerings and best practices in order to guide clients on business and technical decisions to ensure success Requirements * 5+ years of Solution Pre-sales experience - Sales Engineer/Technical Account Manager/Solution Engineer/Solution Consultant/Functional or Technical Consultant in a revenue driven role * Consulting skills (e.g. strategic, technological) and balance between a service-driven and sales mindset * Demonstrated interest in technology, including comfort with technical concepts and ability to become a subject matter expert with new technology applications * Comfortable balancing the intersection of technology and business challenges * Experience working with web, mobile, backend systems, and connected platform technologies. * Understanding of vendor landscape CMS, VMS, OVP, Analytics, CDNs, Data Providers, Content Providers, Platforms as well as broader industry technology trends * Understanding of project management and product management as a practice and applicable trends, processes, and approaches * Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and familiarity with software development technologies and concepts * Experience leading or conducting meetings and presentations for customers at all levels - engineers to C level executives * Experience in being a part of strategy, design, and/or technology engagements * Strong personal management: you're driven - no one needs to push you to excel, it's just who yo
