Do you have Excellent communication and interpersonal skills? We are looking for Service Advisors to join our team in Welwyn Garden who make a real difference to our patients in Hertfordshire. Rate of Pay: £8.72 -£10.63 per hour Job role: As aService Advisor you will bethe first point of contact for calls into NHS 111 for patients that do not require a full assessment. In this role you will signpost callers to the most appropriate service for them along with performing a welfare check on patients who are waiting for the GP Out of hour's service to contact them. You will be: * Receiving calls from a variety of Healthcare Professionals, and logging them accurately onto the system * Handling calls from patients who are chasing a call back from the 111 service, and checking that their symptoms have not worsened * Dealing with dental calls, medication enquiries and prescription requests from patients, establish if they have any active symptoms * Supporting the IUC Contact Centre by comfort calling patients which are likely to breach. * Re directing any NHS 111 calls received which are not for our service to the appropriate 111 providers The qualities we are looking for: * Excellent IT Skills * Experience of working under pressure in a busy environment * Attention to detail and accurate data entry * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to be empathetic and a good listener * The skill to manage sensitive and emotional calls from a range of sources Job flexibility: We have a variety of part time rotas available including days, evenings, overnights and weekends Benefits: We offer benefits that mirror those in the NHS, including membership of the NHS Pension Scheme, NHS discounts through Blue Light Card and access to the 'Perkbox' staff benefit scheme as well as access to Employee Assistance Programme offering 24/7 support to employees.
