Job Description
Talent Operations Specialist Division: HR Duration: Contract 6-12 months - Permanent We are currently engaged in some of the most challenging and innovative automotive projects of recent times and now have an excellent contract role for Talent Operations Specialist opportunity likely to be converted into a permanent position if the candidates prove themselves. The Talent Operations Specialist is based at my client's engineering design offices, Surrey. The manufacturing is based USA * On-board new hires and conduct new hire orientations * Prepares new hire desk set up (Welcome Card, New Hire Binder, etc.) for on boarding * Schedules candidates through our multi-step recruiting process * Takes initiative on career fairs and other recruiting opportunities * Connects with hiring managers and other vehicle systems to understand staffing needs * With talent acquisition team, helps plan and execute team activities * Maintains impeccable customer service with all candidates (internal referral, external) * Lead and execute recruiting strategy that takes into account the clients need to hire professionals at the tops of their fields who are located all over the country and the world * Develop internal communications and processes for high internal visibility of progress toward achieving hiring targets * Develop interview process that supports hiring for the client's culture and values and work intensively with design, engineering, and business functions to improve every client's employee's effectiveness at identifying the right talent * Collect and input new hire data in HRIS Skills and experience: * Automotive industry recruiting experience * HR exposure: able to conduct new hire orientations, handle disciplinary actions, enter employee data into HRIS, answer benefits related questions * They must be able to work flexible hours as some days they may be in the office into the evening hours for candidate interview coordination (since some of our employee base is an 8 hour time difference away) * Work experience of combined HR Generalist and recruiting experience conducting national talent searches, preferably at a firm that experienced rapid growth for sustained period * Experience hiring for highly specialized technical roles * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required * Preferably someone with ADP experience but NOT required Responsibilities: Talent Operations Specialist Division: HR Duration: Contract 6-12 months - Permanent We are currently engaged in some of the most challenging and innovative automotive projects of recent times and now have an excellent contract role for Talent Operations Specialist opportunity likely to be converted into a permanent position if the candidates prove themselves.
