Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and motivated Solutions Architect to work alongside our strategic alliance partners to help build out their SAP practice using the AWS platform. This is an ideal role for someone with deep experience in the SAP industry, expert knowledge of the infrastructure around it, solid understanding of the security, availability, resiliency, and compliance required for deploying SAP solution in an enterprise environment. You will be playing a key role in accelerating these customers' SAP cloud migration capabilities to build scale to meet massive demand across EMEA. You will be asked to apply your experience in SAP migrations to support and enable customers to build and develop their migration frameworks. This is a highly technical position for someone who can dive deep, build SAP cloud-optimized architectures, and support our customers be successful in building migration capabilities. AWS customers are developing exciting and innovative new businesses, and partners are using cloud technologies from AWS such as AI and Machine Learning, IoT, compute and storage to dramatically accelerate innovation. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical skills in both SAP products and cloud computing as well as customer facing skills that will enable you to represent AWS well, not only to customers but to the broader SAP community including customers, partners, developers, & architects. The ideal candidate should also have demonstrated the ability to easily interact with, infrastructure teams, software developers, and architects to lead SAP migration discussions and workshops, overcoming obstacles and concerns across the business stakeholders. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will work with a nominated strategic alliance partner who has entities across Europe providing SAP customers solutions to address their business critical needs using the AWS platform and partner ecosystem. To support partners & customers develop their SAP migration frameworks (assessment and readiness planning) and IP and act as a coach and mentor in live opportunities.Create buy-in for the solutions vision with key alliance and internal stakeholders. Support active customer engagement providing support and where necessary leadership in defining SAP cloud architectures, migration pathways, business case, and migration through to production. Work closely with engineering teams and program management from customer and partner teams to deliver new or migrate existing SAP solutions to the AWS platform. Represent and Promote AWS within SAP, the SAP developer and end user communities. Demonstrate a bias for action and deep technical skills by authoring joint technical whitepapers, technical case studies, or blog posts with our partners. Co-innovate with our alliance partner to bring new SAP solutions to market leveraging the latest technologies from AWS including Big Data, Machine Learning, IoT and Serverless offerings. Assist our partners by enabling them on AWS services by delivering technical workshops, lead white boarding sessions & being the key technical advisor to them on AWS services. Guide and mentor our strategic partner consultants by executing on Proof of Concepts, and advising them on the best-practices to architect solutions in a performant, scalable, secure, and highly available manner on the AWS platform for our joint customers Understand diverse perspectives of technical vision, creativity, technical acumen, and deep AWS technical skills by jointly designing and developing industry and vertical solutions
