Roles and Responsibilities This individual will provide technical leadership and consultation within the Treasury team on design, configuration, deployment, migration, execution and integration of Trax with surrounding systems. They will drive predictability and technical success among multi-functional stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization. The Product Analyst will own the soundness of configuration and data in Trax, fully supporting both run and build activities. This individual will become an expert in how the product works and how it is to be optimized for BKR. * Configure and design Trax to support business requirements and work with the functional and technical stakeholders to test and implement them * Understand and maintain the Trax product, being accountable for the product by knowing how it works * Provide leadership and design on the tracking of pending changes - both internal and vendor provided * Work with application support teams to drive issues to resolution, document root cause and ensure product is running optimally * Work with application vendor teams to ensure product process and config changes are designed and applied appropriately * Assess designs and identify gaps, risks and concerns, as well as ensure complete planning * Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required * Review deployments with release primes and 3rd party vendor in timely manner, enabling product to deploy on current vendor releases * Facilitate and coordinate working sessions as necessary to further refine product requirements and features * Review and test product deliverables to confirm the business requirements have been addressed * Present and train internal customers on new configs/features/releases for Trax * Present opportunities for strategic and tactical product improvements to the product management team * Monitor performance and analyze setup of Trax, looking for opportunities to simplify and fine-tune it * Be accountable to DT horizontal functions for adherence to internal processes, such as PMO, ITIL, security and compliance * Be accountable for communications to functional partners for key events like outages (planned or unplanned), upgrades etc. with deep awareness of the impact Required Qualifications * University educated (masters / bachelors) or equivalent experience; preferred degrees: computer and information sciences, finance, accounting, mathematics or equivalent experience * Proven experience relating to some of the below platforms and protocols * FIS suite (Trax, Quantum, eBAM) or equivalent payment/Treasury systems * Other related Treasury platforms and interfaces, such as SWIFT * Various file formats and connectivity protocols such as XML, SWIFT MT, FTP/SFTP, host-to-host, API etc. * Middleware solutions, such as Web methods or SAP PI * Understanding of multi-tier applications (Web, application, batch, messaging, REST, web services) and how they operate * Familiar with the cash and banking domain * Strong problem solving, and analytical skills demonstrated the ability to assimilate new information and understand complex topics * Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, deployment management Desired Characteristics * Knowledge of the enterprise payment system (i.e. FIS Trax) is a plus * Demonstrated ability to lead in a highly matrixed environment * Strong ability to communicate results in forms that resonate with the business collaborators, highlighting actionable insights * Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations * Familiarity with agile/iterative project methodology such as Scrum * Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and
