Job Description
Role - Senior Front-end developer Location - Exeter, UK Role Type - 6 to 12 Months Contract with Possible extension Job Description: Duties and responsibilities: Lead, manage and develop the front end development team; Subject-matter expert for UX design and presentation layers; Specify, implement and support all front-end software development frameworks, tools and services under the direction of the Development Manager; Take full responsibility for all output from the front end team, guaranteeing error-free code and no unplanned service-impacts from releases; Skills and experience: Graduate-level education in software development; At least 5 years of experience in a professional front end developer role; Up to date knowledge of user-centred design and best practices; Experience of Amazon Web Services (AWS) would be advantageous but not essential; Extensive experience with responsive desktop and mobile UX applications; Good time-management skills and accurate time estimation when quoting tasks; Strong team and project management skills. #No #Sponsirships Provided Qualifications Required skills: HTML / CSS / Javascript / Sass / Bootstrap PHP / MVC: CodeIgniter Linux Source Control e.g. Git Nice to have: MySQL PSR 2 Experience delivering against designs.
