Do you have clinical nurse specialistexperience in the management and care of patients with liver disease and are you passionate about improving Hepatology care for patients? Due to increasing demands within the Hepatology service we are looking for a motivated, dynamic person, with a genuine interest in liver disease to join the Hepatology team. The Exeter Hepatology Nursing Service was established in 2001 and is an expanding and progressive service that delivers safe and effective specialised nursing care to patients with a wide range of liver disease. The successful applicant must have an interest in delivering high quality, evidence based care to patients with chronic liver conditions in both the hospital and community settings. Although team working is key, the successful applicant will be expected to work independently and without direct supervision, prioritising workload in a variety of clinical settings to meet the fluctuating demands of this role. You must be self-motivating, enthusiastic, organised, computer literate and able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to continued personal development. As a member of the multi-disciplinary Hepatology Team, the post holder will provide nursing expertise related to liver disease to colleagues across the Trust and community. We encourage a learning environment in the team and offer support with on-going training to develop within the role.
