Come build the future with us. We are looking for an experienced Public Policy Manager to join a growing and dynamic public policy team that supports Amazon's business in the UK and Ireland. We are looking for someone well-organized who enjoys working with others to get things done. Like our business interests, our policy issues are broad, forward-thinking, and driven by what is best for our customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person who will love the variety and pace of the role. The UK & Ireland team works closely with our counterparts in Europe and globally. As Public Policy Manager, UK & IE you will be responsible for developing and delivering Amazon's policy positions on a range of issues, including but not limited to customer trust and product safety, privacy, competition, online regulation, tax and sustainability. You will need great attention to detail, high standards for quality and presentation, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organisational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests, and multitask. We are looking for candidates with an astute understanding of the UK policy and regulatory environment, and stakeholders within it. You will build trusted relationships with politicians, policymakers and third parties. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, both locally and globally, to develop, align and implement appropriate positioning and engagement strategies. You will enjoy building a network across the business, with people who want to help us get things done, and you will find lots of willing colleagues. You will support external advocacy efforts, outreach programmes, partnerships, and initiatives. You will coordinate Amazon's engagement with relevant industry associations and wider coalitions, and manage consultancy support.
