Job Description
This is a really exciting time to be joining an exceptional ward as a staff nurse. 4th Floor UCH at Westmoreland is a 22 bedded Thoracic surgical ward. Our Thoracic Ward specialises in the providing high quality care to patients, with lung problems requiring inpatient admission for investigations and surgery. We are always considering and implementing new ways to improve our patients experience and we would love for you to join us! You must be enthusiastic, eager to learn new skills and be a team player. As part of the team, we will be able to provide knowledge for various Thoracic procedures and also watch these performed. We have also recently started robotic assisted thoracic procedures and working on Enhanced recovery for all of our procedures. 4th Floor Thoracic has been consistent in outstanding feedback from our friends and family test and staff alike and our monthly feedback is shown in reductions of falls and excellent pressure area care and prevention through excellent teamwork and caring from the staff.
