An excellent opportunity has arisen at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) to join the Thames Valley and Wessex Operational Delivery Network (ODN) team working in collaboration with the four local maternity systems (LMS's) within the ODN footprint , to project manage some of the key deliverables of the Neonatal Critical Care Review ( NCCR ) Implementation Programme This is a 12 months fixed term position. ABOUT THE TEAM * The post is 'Hosted' by UHS, acting as the employer and supporting development and training opportunities. The post will be reporting to the ODN Network Manager * The Neonatal ODNs are entering an exciting period across the region with a real focus on the provision of high quality neonatal service improvement benchmarked against the NCCR. WHAT YOU'LL DO * You will be required to have knowledge of specialised commissioning and the commissioning cycle acquired through either post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training ,plus further specialist knowledge at Master's or equivalent * Must have an understanding of the background and current aims of healthcare policy * Must be able to provide and receive highly complex, sensitive or contentious information, negotiate with senior stakeholders on difficult and controversial issues, and present complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups * Providing a central point of contact for all stakeholders within the network.
