Job Description

Semi-Senior/ Senior Accountant I have a forward thinking Practice in West End that are looking for Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant who are qualified ACA/ACCA 2-5 years PQE or a very competent part qualified. Requirements for the role based in West End: * The candidate needs to have qualified in a small practice so that they will have extensive knowledge of accounts preparation (up to partner review level all trading vehicles including LLP's and medium sized group consolidation). Knowledge of IRIS essential. Detailed technical knowledge of FRS102 essential. * Tax personal and corporate. * VAT preparation * Payroll * ‎P11d preparation * Bookkeeping - Full knowledge of Quick books essential. * Accounts - 60%, anything else we need done 40%. * Fluent In Oral And Written English (essential) * Only candidates with experience of working in an Accountancy practice no candidates from industry please. * Only UK qualified candidates please - and UK experience only. * In terms of character I am looking for a candidate who is highly technically competent with good common sense and communication who is prepared to roll their sleeves up and get the work done whatever it is. * Double Entry Accounting not only have a working knowledge of all the area's below they need to be able to actually prepare all of it themselves from scratch if needs be. * Ability to supervise, assist and train staff members - Ability To Post All Transactions To Trial Balance Stage Including Month End Reconciliations, VAT Preparation And PAYE. Experience of multi-currency. Full knowledge of double entry essential. * Ability to review bookkeeping staff work and prepare management accounts for partner review.
