Job Description
Our ED sees in excess of 90,000 adult patients per year who present with a varied and diverse mix of clinical presentations and needs. The department moves at a fast pace and is often challenging providing a stimulating and supportive environment in which to work. We moved into a fully refurbished ED and Integrated Urgent Care Centre (UCC) in 2012, which provide a first class environment for patients and staff, along with our CDU which holds 11 beds and a seated area. . Due to an increase in our establishment and an expansion of our majors area, we currently have substantive vacancies at band 6/senior 6 (dependant on experience) You will need to be a clinical expert within the speciality of ED nursing, have the ability to lead, manage guide and direct others, and work closely within the ED and wider Multidisciplinary teams within the Trust. You should be committed to the ongoing development of ED nursing and to the service we provide to our patients and staff. In return you will gain experience in all areas, within a progressive department that has numerous opportunities for development. You will be well lead and supported within the wider ED team and by our full time practice development nurse and excellent senior nursing team.
