Job Description

We are seeking an experience Operations Manager for our client, who are a reputable manufacturing business, distributors of meats and poultry based in Norfolk. They have been trading successfully for many years, due to the demand for their service it has organically increased in its productivity levels subsequently now offers a great opportunity for the right person to join their team. The role * Managing a bespoke food safety and management system for red meat and poultry processing. * Managing relationships with third party advisors, primary authority, external auditors etc. * Risk assessing and implementing any new processes into retail sites * Responsibility for communicating all relevant food safety and quality aspects into the training materials * Responsibility for the quality assessment programme at retail sites * Managing the audit programme for all divisions * Driving continuous improvements and providing guidance to teams * Providing quality reports for all divisions / support teams Knowledge and Skills required * You will have worked in a similar role within Food Manufacturing & / or Food Industry * Technical report writing ability * Excellent communication and administration skills * Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines * Excellent computer skills including database /excel analysis skills * Problem solving * Ability to work independently while adhering to deadline They regard health and hygiene practices as a critical part of the operational procedures and practices, therefore you must have indepth understanding and experience of: * Hygiene, Food Safety, Pest Control, Auditing & Quality Management Systems experience. Qualifications You must have Level 3/4 HACCP It is preferable that you hold a bachelors degree or other relevant qualification Level 3/4 in Managing Food Hygiene and safety Being a car owner driver would be an advantage We act as a recruitment business on behalf of the client and operate an equal operations policy all applicants will be considered.
