137013BR Job Title: Certificate Originator No. of Positions: 1 Job Description: This role will focus on UK, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain and France with particular emphasis on growing the renewable and efficiency certificate portfolio of SE-EE. Power is a growth area for Shell and business development & origination will continue to be at the forefront of value delivery. In this role you'll be expected to: + Grow the certificate business in the mentioned markets, optimize the UK/European portfolio and make it a significant contributor to P&L + Develop CVPs with Aggregator portfolio and Local Offices to sell green power to corporates + Pricing and execution of vanilla and structured certificate transactions including the pricing of certificates as part of PPA offtake arrangements in collaboration with the wider BD team + Ability to structure certificate financing solutions + Support existing, and build out of new client certificate deal flow + Execution of transactions with clients and other market counterparties + Develop tradeable counterparts + Lead improvement of administrative management of all certificates + Position taking and creation of certificate trading strategies + Fundamental analysis of UK certificates markets (including ROCs, REGOs and UK delivered EU GOs) + Create a funnel of structured power/certificate opportunities including integrated deals around interconnector capacity working closely with deal structuring and trading desks + Work with New Energies to come up with + implement pricing structures for new sites + Work with regs to manage changing regulatory environment Auto req ID: 137013BR Skillpool: Trading Country of Work Location: United Kingdom Employment Type: Full Time Company Description: Shell started operations in the United Kingdom more than 110 years ago. Work Location: London - Shell Centre Requirements: The role requires mastery skill in identifying the opportunity, a superb co-ordination between internal and external stakeholders and solid execution to capture the value. We are looking for someone who can bring a new, dedicated origination/trading approach to certificate business in terms of developing new products, enriching the number of customers/trading partners and creating a sizable certificate business. + Significant experience in trading and origination of certiciates, and proven track record of a generating significant P&L + Commercial acumen in environmental products or power markets, including solid negotiating skills, with demonstrated ability to identify and close opportunities + Deep understanding of market fundamentals and pricing levers to be able to differentiate Shell's value proposition + Good understanding of risk identification and management i.e. being able to manage the end to end process from origination to trading around the positions + Excellent communication/presentation skills and proven ability to collaborate across teams + An interest in the certificates regulatory landscape and ability to relate this to impacts for Shell and its clients + Able to perform a number of tasks under severe time pressure, in challenging and stressful environments + Good attention to detail and ability to work to short time frames + A self-starter in general City, State (if applicable): London
